This
commercial / residential development occupies a prominent
site near the Tsuen Wan town centre with good proximity
to the KCR West Rail; Tsuen Wan Station. The site, located
directly adjacent to both Tsuen Wan Town Park and a
major commercial development called Nina Tower, affords
clear views across Rambler's Channel. The development
consists of two residential towers with a GFA of 36,000 over a commercial podium containing 1,600 of retail
area, an elderly establishment and a kindergarten. The
development has been given a colorful, contemporary
outlook, which both compliments the colors of the adjacent
park and distinguishes the building against the Tsuen
Wan skyline.

RAMSET DEVELOPMENTS LTD.
This
project consists of two mid-rise residential towers
with a combined G.F.A. of approximately 7,000 over a car park podium, sited on a steep and
restrictively narrow site overlooking Lamma Island
with orientation towards the south & southwest.
The building is orientated longitudinal to Mount
Davis Road addressing the configuration of the
site. This provided opportunities for all the
units to capture the panoramic sea view, however
created exposure to the intense westerly sun.
This problem was resolved in the design of the
elevation with the adoption of projecting planes
and weaving of the external elements of the building
to provide shading and interest in the overall
building mass.
