The
Kwun Yum Temple is a Zen Buddhist Temple modelled
after the classical tower in the Summer Palace
in Beijing. An incredible golden statue of the
Bodhisattva Kwun Yum is housed within.

The
reconstruction of the Bell tower, Drum tower, Palace
of a Thousand Bodhisattvas, and hostel accommodation
for the monks comprise Phase I in the restoration of
this ancient Zen Buddhist temple. It is designed and
constructed to classical orders, using pre-cast concrete
instead of traditional wooden construction techniques.
